Movement Machina has slowly been planning his ascent. The Finnish producer and DJ has had a few releases on respectable labels like Anjunabeats and Silk, still playing under the radar. But his sound is one that's ever relevant – electronic music purveying sounds inspired by the synthetic as well as the natural and organic. His latest EP, Angels In The Abstract/Bypass, reads like a book, starting with progressive sounds emulating nature, and building up to the dark underworld of electronica by the fourth and final track. With two collaborations with Timo Vaittinen, this EP makes a statement.
