Trio XY&O have released their new single "One More Night (Lemonade)" leading up to their second EP release. Comprised of Tudor on production, Skip on vocals, and Nick on guitar, "One More Night (Lemonade)" follows first single from the EP, "Low Tide." This one is just funky, with a steady vocal line and beat that makes you want to just get next to someone. The song examines the motivations of those who seek out carnal pleasures and the expectations that people can put on you.
In Skips own words, "The narrative of the EP is focused on the relationships we have with one another. What we want from one another, what we need from one another and what we expect from one another. Our lives are defined by the people we share them with and the context in which we coexist. Our lives are defined by the people we share them with and the context in which we coexist. They are defined not only by the people we are closest to but also by the seemingly insignificant fleeting meetings we have every day. Ships in the night still cause waves."
The second EP, Powder Rooms, is slated for release later this year.
