One of our favorite LA duos, MIKNNA, has recruited Callum Connor of Free Nationals to create the catchiest of summer bangers titled "Cues".
The production begins with a tropical dance hall rhythm that sets the mood for an upbeat tune. The boys layered synths with the dance hall creating a different sort of alternative/ethereal/electronic/reggae vibe. Mike B does his thing sounding memorable catchy over the unique production. These boys did a outstanding job of creating a more underground version of Drake's new singles that lean towards the dance hall sound. Hats off to MIKKNA & Callum Connor for being able to grab listeners with a catchy hook to create a certified anthem while also staying completely authentic to their own sound.
Blast this when you're driving down the coast in a convertible! But if you're broke like the rest of us, then throw it on at any kick back and get shit turnt up. I promise it won't disappoint.
