Compton rapper AD and League of Starz producer Sorry Jaynari recently released their banger of a collab album, Last of the ‘80s. Today, we at EARMILK, get the chance to premiere a video from one of the hottest cuts off of that record, “40’s.”
Directed by Skeye XB, the video sees AD spitting bars hotter than dragon’s breath in an abandoned lot. The video is simple, which works perfectly with the cut. No extra frills, just AD doing his thing over the Jaynari beat, with a minor lens filter and some dope dancing.
“40’s” is a short one, but a great intro to the album if you haven’t picked it up yet. Between AD’s killer bars like “The OGs gave me the fundamentals, Don’t grab the rock if you ain’t ready, but I learned to dribble, modern” and Sorry Jaynari’s golden era meets contemporary instrumentals, this video is a must listen. And if you continue that recipe throughout the rest of the album?! Yaaaa, just go pick it up now.
Peep the video for “40's” above and be sure to stay locked on EARMILK for all things AD and Sorry Jaynari.
