Saint Louis native Jaylien has written hits like "Beautiful" by Akon and that 2012 banger "Scream and Shout" by will.i.am. so naturally, his own music is pretty good too.
Following up on his EP from last summer, Jaylien is back with a new single and it's got that a tinge of psychedelic courtesy of a Tame Impala sample. "Lucky Guy" is going to catch your attention because it's a song about love, but not the wholesome pop singer kind of love. The song was written after the songwriter fell in love with a woman who was already in a relationship. The impending sinister atmosphere of the song eventually sinks into frenzied, chaotic synths and by the end of the song, you'll get the feeling that Jaylien's getting his way.
