Swimming Tapes are perfect antidote for rain on new single "Queen's Parade"

Swimming Tapes have revealed their first new material of 2017, in the form of new single "Queen’s Parade" released on independent label Hand in Hive. Produced by Adam Jaffrey (Palace, Gengahr, Leif Erikson) and taken from their soon to be announced EP, "Queen's Parade" effortlessly oozes wonderful nostalgic shoegaze guitar, delightful swirling vocal harmonies, and driving positive percussion. For those that have been listening to Swimming Tapes Souvenirs EP, "Queen’s Parade" is ever so slightly more dynamic, somehow equipped with a subtle 'live-ness' to the recordings, it still encompasses the light, charming, summery vein we love so much, and we're not the only ones. Due to play The Line of Best Fit showcase at The Great Escape this very evening alongside hotly anticipated CHINAH and Sigrid, the band have also announced a headline show at The Lexington September 20th. All in all surely making Swimming Tapes one's to watch.

Swimming Tapes live dates:

  • Thu 18 May, The Great Escape, Brighton(The Line Of Best Fit showcase)
  • Fri 26 May, Dot To Dot Festival, Manchester
  • Sat 27 May, Dot To Dot Festival, Bristol
  • Sun 28 May, Dot To Dot Festival, Nottingham
  • Wed 20 Sep, The Lexington, London
