R&B has been having a resurgence over the last couple of years with an influx of fresh voices leading the new charge or sound of the genre. Meet a new voice by the name of MIKExANGEL. The Virginia native is the protégé of Trey Songz and is ready to showcase his talent with his debut single on 300 Entertainment titled "One Time".
The Sean Momberger produced track is a bass knocking, guitar loop heavy cut. "One Time" is upbeat yet sultry and is a refreshing take on R&B as it has tinges of rock and pop. MIKExANGEL sings in the chorus that he's "sick of making love" and seems to just be looking for something casual or rather a one night stand. Though he's not looking for love, you'll definitely fall in love with his voice.
Look for MIKExANGEL's forthcoming project Nothin to Somethin (#N2S) later this month. Until then, enjoy is new single "One Time".
