Brent Cowles releases new music video for "Lift Me Up (Leave Me Here)" [Premiere]

Denver based musician Brent Cowles has released new music video for "Life Me Up (Leave Me Here)" on the heels of his debut EP Cold Times, released April 28 via Dine Alone Records. Cowles has often been described as a little bit blues mixed in with a lot of rootsy and soulful rock akin to Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Jack White.

To understand this music video, it is paramount to understand the story behind it. A few short years ago, Cowles was struggling with a dying relationship and band that he'd poured his heart into. Instead of wallowing in his misery, the singer-songwriter moved into his truck for five months. This music video can be seen as a chronicle of this trip, as well as a showcase of his newfound independence and an anthem of reconnecting to his musical roots.

In Cowle's own words, "I get to work with my best friends playing rock n' roll all over the country. We share wonderful experiences with new people wherever we go. This video is a window into the adventure we're on right now. Come join the party."
