JOHN.k, singer/songwriter has got soul – and we knew that when we received his record "Runnin" back in early March. And now, the indie-pop record has now gotten an electronic rework by producer SEVEN_12. When speaking of the new version, SEVEN_12 shares, "I remember when JOHN.k played the original for me in the studio. What struck me most was the energy he was bringing with his vocals even though the original version is more mellow. With the remix, I got to channel that, add in some of those summer vibez, and then drop it on 'em. It was a pleasure working on it." The new rework features a future bass vibe, but still highlights JOHN.k's stunning vocals, just adding a bit more of powerful emotion. Out today via Keyzar Entertainment, this remix sits next to one from Rainer + Grimm and Rowland Evans on the Runnin (The Remixes) EP.
