Inverness – an artist based out of New York City and Honolulu – is an upcoming bass producer to take note of. After checking out his breadth of music. we found Inverness's impeccable sound design is unbound by genre and his collage-like approach at production makes him stand out as an artist. He has recently collaborated with Soupandreas on a fun Monstercat release "Tumbling Down" but has also teamed up with up and comers KRANE, So Sus and more. With each remix and original, Inverness produces quite the treat, incorporating cutesy samples with hard-hitting drops and aggressive beats. A new kaleidoscopic world is unveiled in each Inverness track, painting bright imagery and a myriad of upbeat sounds and melodies.

In his latest release "Can't Keep Us", he takes us on a whirlwind of bright feels, with jazzy hints and epic vocal manipulations. The track falls somewhere along the lines of Lido, Giraffage and Wave Racer. It has a pastel-tinted quirkiness but definitely goes hard in the paint with its execution. With this release, we're only more excited for what else Inverness has in store.

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
