Fans of Seven Lions will recognize "Freesol" from the melodic bass/trance figurehead's recent Journey Tour. Nothing says 7L quite like epic buildups, euphoric drops, and breathy female vocals. But the producer’s latest release on Seeking Blue Records (the label started by longtime Seven Lions supporter MrSuicideSheep) also incorporates some of the newer techniques of the melodic bass genre – most notably the fluid synths common in future bass offerings. It brings a more progressive feel to the track, while still retaining the glitchy stutters and classic Seven Lions drum fills that put the Santa Barbara producer on the map.
