Boston artist Chovi has delivered a brand new banger with "Whip!" Although this track has a trap-influenced instrumental, Chovi says this is an honest record disguised as a turn-up record.
"In the songs I make, often times I aim to make something where people can just vibe to while at the same time, should they choose to look closer they can find more."
He uses this track as a way to introduce himself to the listener and show where he comes from and what he is about. The bars on this thing are crazy, with "Picture me rolling in mamas Toyota, Haitian as fuck baby still eating Goya. Asking god if I'll ever have a home because we did more boxing (aka moving) than O. De La Hoya" as just one example. This track was produced by Jack Kerwin, a fellow Bostonian. Although the title and release date are still a mystery, Chovi told us that this is on an upcoming project – whatever it may be – for the young rapper. Check out the track above.
