Daz Rinko is one of our favorite emerging rappers in the underground scene. The Memphis born and bred artist has been quiet for the past couple months but switched it up for a hot sec on his new track "Following Love" produced by Donato.
We are used to hearing Daz over soulection, synth heavy, progressive, electro-hop beats. This production is definitely no exception – the song sounds like it should be off Kaytranada's tape 99.9%. His hook reminds me of some old school Missy Elliot x Pharrell with his laid back cadence saying, "I'm gonna break it down, you gonna let me break it down for you". Lyrically, we hear Daz overcoming a break up on this track. If this is the product of every breakup, I would encourage Daz to continue this pattern because this track is fire.
