You may notice Culan's name from a dancehall cover he did of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" earlier this year. The video reached more than five million views in 4 weeks and was pretty hype on radio stations in London. Today, Culan is premeiring original content with EARMILK as a solo artist titled "Easy to Love".
The wavy track reminds us of a matrimony between Popcaan x Sean Paul who have taken on Kygo and Odesza as their side pieces. The track carries a reggae vibe through Culan's tone as the artist is 1/2 Jamaician and 1/2 English. Yet incorporates hints of tropical house in the production and a touch of hip-hop with the female vocal samples looped through out the production. Culan did everything right to make this single a hit-making banger, it's near impossible to get this song out of your head (even if you listen just once). But you won't be able to listen just once. So go get your groove on you bad lil ting.
This is Culan's first single of the year, you better believe he'll start dishing out more tasty treats as the year goes on. Don't sleep.
