The 23 year old LA-based singer and producer just put out a new single called "Build Me Up" which continues to remain loyal to his signature sound. "Build Me Up" is chock-full of lightly tapping snare-infused beats weaving themselves around sounds of water droplets and hazy synths, creating a progressive and optimistic effect. Vocals are cool and relaxed, and for a song that's about "the idea of rearranging yourself in a way that allows relationships to flourish", it's effortless to say that the sound and vibe reflects Lex's inspiration pretty accurately.
