Siya is a California born, New York raised emcee who moved to Atlanta to pursue her music career. After doing shows around Atlanta, her music career started to take off, talks with major labels began and corporate execs became worried about how her image as an openly gay female rapper would fit into the industry. Naturally, none of this slowed her down and she made it her missions to continue to kill shows, while later securing a spot on Oxygen's popular TV show "Sisterhood of Hip Hop." She ended up signing to Tank's R&B Money label and recently released her Commitment EP that contained only one feature: Tank.
A few days ago, Siya hit her SoundCloud with "Needed you the most." This track contains vocals from Blackbear's "I Needed You" song and wavy production by Money Montage. She comes at us with a slick flow that proves Siya could be next up. The song is simple but powerful as Siya dives deep into a relationship while showing off her rapping abilities.
