A couple of weeks ago, an exciting new artist hit my inbox, and we wrote about his debut project. Manchester based HMD captivated a whole lot of people with his wavy W16NTER project, and now the young don is back with the premiere of the first visuals off the EP, for the title track 'W16NTER'.
Directed by fellow Mancunian KC Locke, the visuals are shot at various locations across the city of Manchester, taking in landmarks such as the Beetham Tower, in the cold night air. HMD has surrounded himself with his closest friends for the video, mobbin' out in the dark, urban terrain around the city. The track itself shows off HMD's versatility, with him blending his rapping with singing so seamlessly, over his airy self-produced beat. If you haven't already listened to his EP, then what're you waiting for?! One of my favourite projects submitted by an artist in a while, a real vibe from start to finish!
