London-by-way-of-Barcelona cousin duo THALAB have released the fourth and final track to complete their much awaited EP A Good Swim, out today via Juicebox Recordings. Max (production) and Oscar (vocals/guitar) seamlessly weave elements of otherwise unrelated genres like folk and techno into bold soundscapes on the EP. The newest record "Good Swim" ties the four track EP together nicely with downtempo production and raspy vocals. A Good Swim appears effortless although its countless instruments comprise intricate textures of sound.
THALAB will celebrate the release of A Good Swim this Friday with a special live performance at The Nines in London, UK. There is no cover charge for the soirée and there will be special guests, so arrive before the doors open at 7PM. If you're not local to London, THALAB plans to perform live shows throughout 2017.
