Riding high from the release of her long-awaited "Ciao Adios" last week, British songstress Anne-Marie has another trick up her sleeve.
Earlier this week, the UK artist behind “Alarm” joined Clara Amfo in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge for a special performance. She’s been there before, performing covers of Alicia Keys and Kungs and Cookin’ on 3 Burners’s hits as well as her own. While of course performing a rendition of “Ciao Adios,” Anne-Marie took on an extra special cover of choice: The Spice Girls’s “Say You’ll Be There.” The performance starts out as you'd expect, but when the instrumental comes in a little clearer, this "Say You'll Be There" is in true Anne-Marie fashion, like much of her music, calling on some dancehall beats to support her impressive voice. In true form, she mixes in a bit of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love." Check out her performance streaming on YouTube.
