Let HALFBROTHER "Sweet Talk" you with their brand new joint

UK duo HALFBROTHER aren't here to play around. The pair has been hard at work for well over a year now, honing their craft in the studio, ready to unleash on the world. Their first single, "Go Tell The Mandem", was lauded by fans and critics alike, and kick-started their adventure, and now they're back again with another slice of pop gold.

The self-produced instrumental that Patrick Scally has provided, is an airy, atmospheric number, with nostalgia-inducing synth lines and crisp sounding drum patterns. This lays a minimalistic ground layer that allows Murkage Dave to add some sweet-boy, smooth vocals on top, with a verse full of verve and quotables. Lyrically the song deals with the much talked about issues of relationships and dealing with the strain that being on the come up can have on that, especially with groupies hovering round.

The visuals, directed by Marco Grey, who's idea behind the whole video came from an art exhibition he took part in, where he wrote "Why are we vex?", and let people write their own answers down, with one girl's response of "Because guys . love pussy + hate women" catching his attention. Peep the video above, and if you're feeling the song, you can buy/stream it on almost every platform imaginable.
