Thoreau is back with another take on a middle school classic. He's already reimagined works including Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and Radiohead's "Creep" with a lively future bass flair. This time, the Boulder-based artist has added a colourful twist to our favourite pop punk princess Hayley Williams and her band Paramore's "Misery Business". It's easy to say both girls and boys were in love with this fiery orange haired rockstar, bringing herself forward as one of the most badass females in the industry. In Thoreau's recreation, he adds an explosive twist with twinkling synths and a pumped up build up that emphasizes the already loud energy of the original. The serrated drop punches in with a refreshing sharpness, that compliments Williams spunky vocals perfectly. Thoreau's rendition is a sweet pick me up that adds some heavy middle school nostalgia and angst to your day. Challenge: Try getting through the track without singing along.
