Louisiana based singer-songwriter Merci Raines has released her haunting new track, "Moon City." Her songs can be described as pop music steeped in darkness, just underneath the surface of her bubbly vocals. Raine incorporates all the elements of Louisiana into her music, the southern wildness of a city on fire.

Her pop style is decidedly mysterious and on "Moon City" the intrigue is clearly felt through her vocal croons and a driving beat. The song evokes the magic of Louisiana in both the title and it's delivery, which is a silvery, sparkly track that glides through. Merci Raine's songs have a great range, from downright spooky to bright and danceable. Merci Raine's self-titled debut EP will be released on March 31st.
