Norwegian artist dePresno has released the visuals for his latest single "See You Soon." dePresno is a master of crafting indie pop dreams lined with catchy melodies and seductive vocals. It's a stirring track that maintains a very sultry, yet uplifting melody which builds up to powerful chorus'. The video displays the natural allure of Norway while mixing in these intimate interactions between the audience and the singer.
“We filmed on Hardangervidden, in the middle of nowhere. It was -20° celsius (-4° fahrenheit??) i wore every piece of clothing i own, but i still couldn't be outside for more than 10 minutes at a time. It was an awful, beautiful and in hindsight priceless experience. I got to put skies on an old chair and ski down. How could it not be the best day ever. And then I got sick.”
dePresno was raised in Bergen, Norway, a small town which is subsequently going through a mini-renaissance of music creativity, having churned out artists such as AURORA, Kygo, Röyksopp and Kings of Convenience. I don't know if there's something in the water out there but dePresno joins the ranks of incredibly talented Norwegian artists that preserve a very deep sincerity in their music and this raw emotion serves as the driving force behind their music. It makes for music that a wide range of audiences can really connect with and with "See You Soon" as the first single from dePresno's forthcoming debut album due out in 2017, we couldn't be more excited.
