Change is difficult. More often than difficult, change is uncomfortable. Change is also inevitable. Today, for good or for bad, a wild change is upon us as we mark one of the largest historical moments of our lifetimes.
Today is the puberty-voiced, oily-faced, body-odoriferous middle school years. Today is acne. Today is thinking you finally have your crush’s phone number, but soon discovering it's just Domino’s digits. Today is a bad first kiss in an uncomfortable car. Today is a pair of new Vans meeting a pile of dog shit. Today is age 13. Today is angsty.

Music and art offer release, comfort, escape. We know this; in this we trust and believe and it is where much of our community comes alive and connects. And so regardless of medium or genre, we need music and art now more than ever. We need creativity and individuality and emotion. We need the angst.
Weekly, EARMILK will try to bring you a playlist that allows for cultural release and maybe invites some nostalgic, healthy angst. This week, we’ve featured more punk, rock, and hardcore tracks than you’re used to seeing. But don’t worry: angst is genre-less.
Give it a listen. See how it feels. Let’s Make Earth Angsty Again.
