Come "Escape" with Brandyn Burnette's soulful beats [Premiere]

Rising progressive soul artist Brandyn Burnette is setting up to make 2017 his year. Having opened for artists like John Mayer, Jon Bellion, and James Bay, he’s looking to embark on his own tour. His collaboration with Molly Moore also saw great success with their Iggy Azalea cover “Team.” Starting to delve into his forthcoming Feature Films EP, Burnette’s track “Escape” brings distant billowing melodies and textured production to contrast the comfort in his warm soulful vocals.

“Escape” is meant to represent a rebirth and that idea of finding a way out. Burnette says he wanted “to create a track that expressed the turmoil, redemption, and passion that most of us felt building throughout 2016.” As the track melds and progresses, more texture and percussion enter to give this sense of propelling the listener up out of the darker and brooding aspects of the production. The beauty and eeriness that Burnette is simultaneously able to capture in “Escape” makes it instantly attractive and easy to love. As we eagerly await the debut of his Feature Films EP, catch Brandyn Burnette on tour starting next month.
