New year, more Russ. Rapper and producer Russ has been rolling out track after track this year, dropping his fourth this month, "The Best Party". Produced by Russ himself, he features a 90's-style beat with clever bars saying that he is different than other artists. With lines such as, "you don't have to sell your soul I'm the proof this is" and "I'm detached from anything y'all attached to" Russ sets himself apart from other rappers who have "sold their souls" for fame.
Without blatantly calling out other artists or being too harsh, Russ fans will appreciate this track because it shows he cares about providing good quality music, not just making music to be part of the exclusive "party" of rappers in the industry.
