There’s nothing like cruising along to the breezy funky rock of Steely Dan. There’s also never a reason to turn down a little Mighty Mouse magic. Before laying down “lots” of new tunes for 2017, the producer has decided to treat with little edit of “Time Out Of Mind.” Armed with that warm velvety bass, solid thumping kick, and classic Steely Dan harmonies, Matthew “Mighty Mouse” Haymes adds in just a little touch of nu disco makeup to get this one ready for the modern dance floor.

It has been while since we’ve gotten any new singles from Mighty Mouse, but that doesn’t mean he has been completely absent over the past year. His collaborative project Du Tonc, with Matt Van Schie, saw great success with a never ending flow of tracks and remixes. All of which eventually led up to Du Tonc’s smashing double single “Wonderland” backed with “Keep Movin’,” undoubtedly two of the guys’ best tracks. Make sure to follow along, because it sounds like it’s going to be the year of the Mouse.
