D.C. songstress Zeroni was named an artist to watch towards the end of 2016 and rightfully so! Zeroni is continuing to prove why as we kick of 2017. Her new release is a new take on an oldie that will have you thinking Ms. Lauryn Hill and SZA got on a track together.

Zeroni's "Fiona's Song" is a cover of Fiona Apple's "Criminal". The original is definitely a favorite (especially the visual for it), but I think Zeroni's might be the new favorite. Her sultry vocals on top of 808 filled, trap soul type beat breathes new life into the lyrics. She truly makes the song her own.
Here's to hoping for more new music from Zeroni throughout 2017 and possibly a full project. Until then, let "Fiona's Song" bless your soul.
