Out now on Afrojack's own Wall Recordings imprint, the gargantuan trap tune, which we have the distinct pleasure of premiering, is an emphatic reminder that the Dutch dynamo is still one of the leading sound designers in the game.
"Diamonds" also represents a major breakthrough for Jay Karama, whose own impressive sonic artistry is in full-fledged 'attack mode' throughout the track's entirety. Utilizing vicious metallic wobbles and screeching synths reminiscent of his electro house bomb "Keep Calm," the surging Aussie was ecstatic at the opportunity to work with one of his biggest electronic inspirations:
"Working with Afrojack was a surreal experience. I was collaborating with the very person that inspired me to start producing music years ago! Our styles had combined so seamlessly and upon completion in The Netherlands we couldn't stop listening back to it! It was fucking dope."
