It's no surprise that Kidä's debut single "Snakes" is a perfect concoction of her soul, R&B, trap, future, and avant-pop influences. After growing up in New York, the 20-year-old singer eventually moved to Los Angeles, where she employed a Motown and soul background to sing backup vocals for Pharrell and Natasha Bedingfield. Somewhat of a nomad, Kidä left architectural school in London to pursue music full time, recently graduating from the Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal.
"Snakes" is the culmination of this eclectic upbringing, and if it's is any inclination of where she's sonically headed, we're happy she's putting her all into music. Give her stunning production and seductive vocals on "Snakes" a listen below, and be on the lookout for Kidä's debut EP via Tireless Records in 2017.
