Pavo Pavo unveil dreamy visual for “Ruby (Let’s Buy The Bike)”

Brooklyn-based experimental pop band Pavo Pavo are today sharing a brand new music video for LP highlight track "Ruby (Let's Buy The Bike)".

Hailing off of the act's debut record Young Narrator in the Breakers (released Nov 11/16 via Bella Union), "Ruby (Let's Buy The Bike)" is weightless indie pop that showcases (in equal parts) each of the five members' musical background in New York's classical music scene or the indie rock/pop scene.

Pavo Pavo's Oliver Hill (guitar, synth, vocals) contextualizes both the song and visual accompaniment by expressing his piqued interest in Scorpio Rising, "a great Kenneth Anger documentary about a biker gang that peers into all the death-obsessed symbology in these gangs". To help capture this bizarre environment, Hill and the rest of Pavo Pavo went up to Pleasantville, NY (Hill and bassist Ian Romer's hometown), and continued on to make a music video that captured "that special type of suburban-high-school boredom where groups of friends" act as a "sort of reimagined biker gang".
