YMTK released his undeniably good project All the Right Places in August and has kept the momentum going. From being apart of Caleborate's 1993 tour stop in Los Angeles to his latest single titled "SILK" featuring P-LO, YMTK continues to place his best foot forward.
Today, YMTK brings us his new visual for an oldie but a goodie from his Songbird EP – "Exotic".
The Damien Sandoval directed visual shows YMTK all over Brazil having fun with friends in the favelas, as well as with a young lady he hopes will "get exotic" with him. The Trev Case produced, upbeat track and the lighthearted, feel good visual match perfectly. As we move into winter, it's nice to be able to imagine warmer weather. What could be better than going to Brazil and shooting a music video while you're there? YMTK discussed his trip to Rio de Janeiro and shared,
The fact that we got to travel halfway across the world just to jump around, take in another culture for a week, & do what we love to do is something I'll forever be grateful for. This trip was more spiritual than anything, & I'll never forget the time spent in this magical place. 'Exotic' is one of my personal favorites & has become a fan favorite overtime so I'm excited to not only share the visual with those who love the song already; but to put it out & let it reach those who hopefully never even knew it existed.
