Two weeks ago popular Sacramento artist Chuuwee released a Dragon Ball inspired album titled Super Supreme. LA producer Saltreze and rapper Chuuwee teamed up on this album to bring together the two halves of California. The album creates a storyline based on this Dragon Ball theme, while incorporating weed and women to give it a West Coast feel. A standout track from the album is "Beerus", which is filled with an effortless flow and plenty of metaphors. EARMILK got the chance to premiere the video for "Beerus" and took immediate action. The video illustrates the Dragon Ball theme of the album and is filled with shots of Chuuwee around Chula Vista, California. Check it out below:
Chuuwee has been in the game for a quite a while, with 8 years of rapping under his belt and many more of heavy growth expected. The Northern California product recently toured through Europe for The South Sac Mack Tour but remained hard at work. To his name he has 2 full-length albums, 20+ mixtapes/EPs, and is in the process of preparing for part one of a five-part album. Part one, titled Paradiso, is being planned to be released in the next few months. It is the first album in Chuuwee's Dystopia saga.
Super Supreme showcases Chuuwee's ability to take a beat over with his smooth, slick flows. Hard bars are uncovered throughout the album and Chuuwee's lyricism is on full display.
The free SoundCloud version of Super Supreme has 6 songs, but the iTunes and Bandcamp bonus versions contain a bonus track called "Imperfect Cell".
