After releasing his three song trilogy, Unlike Pluto has returned for his new release, "Someone New", via Monstercat and features vocalist Desi Valentine. The Atlanta native known more for his bass-heavy tracks throws listeners off their game with this slow, sensual jazz-inspired track.
Starting off with low drums and horns, the kicks and distorted vocals come in and set the mood for "Someone New". Desi Valentine follows suit in soulful, sexy fashion with lyrics of yearning which intensify as the song builds to its climax. A slight lull comes near the end, but Unlike Pluto kicks the track into overdrive as the horns & vocals become increasingly prominent until the very end. You may need some air after this because it's a steamy one.
