Art imitates life. Sam Setton's music is a perfect example. Since a recent break-up, New York singer/songwriter Sam Setton has been placing all of his energy and it looks like his feelings into his music. With Sam's latest single, "Stranger", he peels back yet another layer to break-ups.

"Stranger" is a thumping, surf guitar-heavy cut that gradually builds from the beginning to the first chorus. It's a relatable track about going from the being in a relationship, best of friends, to ultimately being strangers due to a break-up. The chorus is as infectious as Sam's raspy and sultry voice.Sam's inclusion of real life themes will definitely continue to make for great music.
Catch Sam performing on November 29th at Mercury Lounge. Until then, don't be a "Stranger" and listen to his latest single.
