Seems like there's a bajillion collectives starting up these days, but Night Owl Collective is actually a worthwhile collective to be following out of the bunch. Focused on bringing to light genres such as "jazz – future – chill – neuro – vintage – unique – deep – owl music" (as seen on their SC), Night Owl Collective has been releasing a variety of  popping tracks, and in the process, setting themselves up to be strong tastemakers.

Yesterday, Night Owl Collective announced the release of their 40-track "Feel Trip Vol. 2" compilation album featuring all different artists, most notably GEOTHEORY, Audiobot, and BENTZ.  Check out the 36-minute album teaser below to see what's in store.

As Jonny, Night Owl Collective's founder tells me,

"Volume 2 covers many different styles, but all of the songs compliment each other's sounds. The order of the tracks in the Album Teaser and the song release schedule, are both ordered in a way where the songs tell a story throughout the album, starting with the first few releases having a heavy / darker sound, and slowly moving throughout a series of different genres and vibes until the end of the album which ends off with a much lighter / uplifting / inspirational sound."

Volume 1 was 20 tracks, spread out for 2 months and Volume 2 shows the collective stepping up their game, making it 40 tracks  with a release period over 3 months, from October 2nd to December 19th. A new track will be released every other day during that time period.
