On September 20th, techno icon Carl Cox embarks on his last night inside the walls of Space Ibiza, to front his Music Is Revolution residency. All the details are now out for those lucky enough to of grabbed a ticket before they sold out. The rest of us won't completely miss out mind as it will stream live on Be-At TV.
To end his season-long residency and 15th and last year at Space, Carl Cox will smash it out on the Discoteca all night long. Carl is a well-noted fan of digital innovation in the DJ booth but will be playing some vinyl during his ten-hour set, as he explains below.
"I wanted to take things back and pay homage to all those years at Space spinning records. I want to show respect to those older tunes, dig out some of my old vinyl and play them alongside new tunes. A lot of the crowd probably won’t have even heard them before, so it’s a way of showing the music is still relevant. I thought it was a fitting way to say goodbye. I also want people to know I can still DJ with vinyl and make the house rock. This music has been my life and I want to share it one last time at Space."
Joining the main man himself, Coxy has invited the likes of DJ Sneak, Nic Fanciulli and tINI to play on the terrace. Concluding the final chapter on the Sunset Terrace there will be Popof and Julian Jeweil going B2B before midnight, after which DJ Callum, Andy Baxter, and Ken Fan take control. Upstairs on the Premiere Etage Clara Da Costa fronts Jack's House with the help of Alex Arnout. While the so-called living room in Space, El Salon will play host to Eoin Smyth, Harry Luderman, Paul Skinback and Aphotek.
