The last we heard from producer MICA was the hauntingly beautiful work "Lin" in collaboration with Lodent. With his second release "Angels" featuring Amy, MICA continues to take dreamers into a alternate universe drenched in the rawest of emotions. The song is an alternative take on Birdy's "Not About Angels", which was featured in "The Fault in Our Stars" soundtrack. With the little work showcased by the producer, it's safe to say he encompasses a sound that speaks to dark and rarely explored corners within. MICA's signature sound shines through as introspective, lightly grazing the existential curiosities within us.

In "Angels", MICA kicks off the tune with a whimsical chime and quirky hollow dwindles. Amy's feathery vocals sink into the ambience of the track, adding a surreal dimension to the entirety of the track. MICA has a unique way of adding mundane details to the track. Whether it be the lush laughter and screams of children, or indistinct conversation, these details breathe the track in and out of reality, mimicking the sporadic nature of a half dream. A truly lush work of art, "Angels" reverts listeners back to a sacred sentimental state and brushes our sensitivities in the strongest way.
