Australia's future bass poster child Flume has been the epitome of electronic discourse in 2016. The highly acclaimed album Skin blew up the scene with it's quality collaborations and maturing progression of Harley Streten's sound. Adding his own majestic flair to the future bass king's work is the young mastermind of Lodent. If you haven't come across the name yet, Lodent also plays the role at co-owner and founder of Amourous Collective based out of Chicago and Grand Rapids, who use the "desire to innovate" as their mantra. EARMILK had last covered the artist's work in an exclusive premiere of Lodent's original "Lin" featuring Mica. The track encompassed an other-worldy feel, dragging us into unexplored emotional dimensions.

In Lodent's latest he strikes a chord with our heart strings again, taking his complex technical talents and transforming it into sonic gold where he's reworked an older track, "Bring You Down", with vocals from Anastasiya. What makes Lodent's talent so striking is his ability to take peculiar sometimes cacophony of sounds and throw them together in a harmonious way. With the thrashing and cracking nature of the synths melded with angelic vocals used, Lodent births a track that embraces beauty in destruction.
