Dirty South just bridged an important gap that currently exists in electronic music. With a deep-rooted history in the the real stuff, Dirty South was a pioneer in house music's rise to the consumable mainstream market. And now, the Australian producer and DJ is helping to inject some real creativity into the crossover pop/house brand, most impressively with his latest track "Just Dream." While it has an infectiousness easily digestible for the radio, it also has a breakdown and familiar production style that will appeal to die-hard Dirty South and house fans (not to mention his frequent collaborator Rudy on vocals). Out on Phazing tomorrow, "Just Dream" is a must-listen.
