If it feels like CamelPhat just had their debut release on Suara, it's because they did. The British DJ and production duo teamed up with the beloved deep and tech house outfit to release "Make 'Em Dance" just this April, and now just a few months later the guys are back to the label with a full EP release. Entitled Higher, the three-track EP is nothing but a groovy, fun-loving expression of who they are together.
Sampling Missy Elliott on "Reverse It," employing a mesmerizing peak time Ibiza progression in the EP's title track, and slowing it down to go deeper on "Raabta," Higher is impressively well-rounded. It's an EP that you can feel the passion that was put into its making, and just affirms that artists really love to bring their best to Suara. Higher is streaming and available via Beatport.
