The Denver-based, alt-rock group, Rumours Follow, dabbles in the revitalized synth-laden, arena rock percussion style sounds that has seen a massive resurgence in recent years. A type of sound that has typically been saturated lately with contemporary 80's rock imitators but this mile-high city's charming vocals and undeniably catchy melodies truly separates them from the rest of the pack and have created a unique alt-rock pop sound of their very own. Consisting of Nick Sanders (vocals/guitar), Adam Swanson (synthesizers/bass/vocals) and Dennis Herandez (synthesizers/effects), EARMILK is excited to release Rumours Follow new music video for their track, "Don't You Love Me." The song provides a deeply textured sound that utilizes the guitar as the center background, arena style percussions while all wrapped in a blanket of tasty synths.
"It is a song of desperation. But I wanted to show the sensual side of that emotion. It was meant to have this positive feel and sound. With a very seductive delivery. Although deep down its kind of this sad song about loss. We wanted this very 80's arena rock feel. A Def Leppard vibe with the attitude and suggestiveness of Michael Hutchence and INXS." Nick Sanders, Rumours Follow
The track is as playful as it is seductive and the video really allows those two varying ideas to dance hand in hand with one another. Check it out below.
