Before embarking upon his solo career, Iranian-American artist Sharam was half of the Grammy winning duo Deep Dish with fellow artist Dubfire. In 2009, when they commenced their solo careers, Sharam released his debut artist album and last month, he returned with a sophomore full length album, Retroactive, on his very own Yoshitioshi Recordings. Retroactive is full of new wave and industrial sounds, with a bit tech thrown in, rendering a solid listening experience.
