When I think of SZA, Jhene Aiko, Syd the Kyd, and a number of other r&b/alternative r&b songstresses, I think of the depth and realness that makes their music stand apart. Nigerian-American singer/songwriter Olawumi is an artist that will be joining their ranks soon enough as her music features the same insight and authenticity that easily captivates listeners of the aforementioned artists. Olawumi's new single, "Still", is no different.

Through her The Feels series, Olawumi has been sharing the emotions felt during what was the end of her last relationship. Her music seems to be a cathartic release that is relatable to anyone that has ever been a in relationship that has gone south.
For "Still; the final installment of her series, she explores sorrow. "Still" is about the feeling of knowing you failed at love yet in the very end you want to just take a moment to be still with the person you loved. The Cloud Atrium produced single is bass thumping yet sultry and is elevated by Olawumi's deep, soulful vocals.
