We first heard "Almeria" by French beatsmiths Everydayz & Phazz a little over a year ago with the original release via Nowadays Records. The production on the song is incredible and reminds me of one of my current favorite producers Lido. Catchy chord progressions, intricate drums, and big synths make this a super sexy chilled out jam. A few weeks back we had the pleasure of premiering Almeria 2.0 which features a new take on last years hit including a remix from 20syl, a piano rendition by Gaël Rakotondrabe, and a vocal version featuring Krystle Warren. All three edits breath new life into the classic tune but I really love the soulful vocals added by Warren.
Just the other day we were once again pleasantly surprised by the release of a new music video that accompanies the vocal version of "Almeria" featuring Krystle Warren. Everything from the cinematography to the choreography of the three female dancers and of course the song itself is top notch and both visually and audibly stimulating.
