International sensation Robyn has been keeping popular music avant garde. Her latest few projects – an EP with Royksopp, and a project with La Bagatelle Magique – have been an exemplary reason that the Swedish singer/songwriter is attracting fans to her new music, not just her incredible resume of mainstream and "girl power" hits like "Dancing on My Own."
This week, Robyn announced another new project entitled RMX / RBN. In the new enterprise, Robyn has asked a few of her electronic production contemporaries to take their own shot at her most beloved hits. The first two have been released this week – Axel Boman's new "Hang With Me" and The Mekanism's "Don't Fucking Tell Me What To Do" – will be followed by six more releases. The new takes on the tracks are totally deconstructed and reconstructed over again, perfectly in homage of Robyn's style that always pushes contemporary boundaries.
