Parisian producer Malaa was one of the first artists to release on house music's creative tastemaker Tchami's first label venture, Confession. Now, with multiple releases under its belt and nearly seven months later, Confession welcomes back Malaa with another track entitled "Diamonds."
"Diamonds" follows Malaa's ode to biggie, "Notorious," which was a soulful nod to house and hip hop's origins. "Diamonds" goes one more step, bringing a vocal sample that is representative of a certain brand of hip hop with a gritty, almost techno beat. It's festival ready, as proved by its success in Malaa's debut set at Ultra Music Festival this past March, and is streaming and available via iTunes.
