It was just one year ago that we were first introduced to Brasstracks and their unique, brass and electronic live cover of Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney's "Four Five Seconds." The track was a collaboration with the already buzzing electronic artist Lido, and turned into a breakout hit, bowling over many electronic fans in their realization that yes, they still love live music just as much as synthesizers. And the two together? Even better.

Since then, Lido has continued on in his solo project and headlining tour, and Brasstracks continued to explore electronic and live music's mix by collaborating with a slew of artists to bring us everything from pop to hip hop. Ahead of their forthcoming debut album, Brasstracks has reunited with Lido on a new single debuted on SoundCloud today entitled "Telling the Truth." Boasting a sound that might remind you of a younger Rudimental, "Telling the Truth" is an ideal nex step for the group. Collaborating again with the artist that helped make their sound unique in the first place, and adding in some seriously groovy and soulful vocals from FatherDude is the perfect combination to release as a nod to their OG fans ahead of their album drop.
