One of the artists who was instrumental in bringing back UK garage-style house is back for more. You might remember Route 94 from back in 2013, where his track "My Love" with Jess Glynne became an all-encompassing, surrounding hit, exposing many people to a new sound they hadn't heard before. Since then, Route 94 has been rather quiet, and this week he's back with his first new original music in nearly two years. Entitled A Brand New Day, the 3-track EP has been released as a free download to whet fans' palettes again.

Each track on A Brand New Day is its own view on an underground club burner. With "A Brand New Day" highlighting jazzy hi hats and dissonant piano chords perfect for a dimly lit room, "Caramel" creating a subterranean take on world electronica and progressive, and "Take Off" echoing a modern take on house, Route 94 brought it all to this EP to showcase his range in talent.
