Meet Los Angeles based trio Iconique. Though a fairly new band – having been formed in 2015, Iconique's sound is one that is deeply rooted in the past. With a sound that instantly reminds you of the mid to late 80's, Iconique follows in the big footprints of their inspirations David Bowie, Prince, and Chic. Their first single "Step Into The Mood" and now "Sitting Pretty" are infectious and sure to make you sway across the dance floor or your bedroom.

"Sitting Pretty" is a drum-filled, synth heavy anthem about the faults of vanity. The video fits perfectly as its full of neon lights, performance shots reminiscent of Freddie Mercury, and flashbacks of pageant queens with feathered hair. The single truly shines at the chorus and near the end when falsettos matched with the guitar riffs and drum fills whisk you away.
